Sorry for the delay I was creating anticipation!!!! I have tallied the money from the BBQ and the Trivia night and we have made over $7, 000 for The Dawe Family! A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Trivia night and to those people who donated prizes, money and/or their time to make these events such a success.
I would like to mention the tireless efforts of Cherie, Anni, Nicky, Deb, and Sue, who helped with the organising and running of both the Trivia night and the BBQ. They also kept reminding me to eat, sleep and breathe!!! I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them!!! So THANK YOU girlies!!!!
Next I would like to thank the people that worked shifts on the BBQ. We had such a fun time despite the rain and the fact that we were cooking fat, part boiled sausages!!!!! So thanks to Cherie, Anni, Nicky, Steve, Jo, Pieta, Candice, Grant and Sean. And to Candice and Ollie who offered their time but we ran out of sausages so they got out of cooking!!!

It was a wonderful night which was enjoyed by all. Some people didn’t know Kasey or her family but were touched by her story, so thank you to those people who came for the cause. Most people there did know Kasey and/or her family and had been touched by her at some point in their lives and that is why we were all there, to help our mate.
