Here we have my BLOG page, how cool is this (Thanks DAD)... Just wanted to let everyone know that surgery went well, and back at home now; came home last night (sat 26 Jan), at bout half 9. Great feeling to b home. Kids were all asleep, but snuck in and gave them all kisses anyways. Have an appointment with the onocologist (spelling) on the 5th Feb. Dr's still don't have the pathology results, they just want me to see a radiotherapy and and chemotherapy specialist person, just to be safe. As I said b4 there is alot of cloudy areas, so no one can b too sure. I've got a COOL scar! 22 staples on top of my noggin! Pretty cool. Not much pain, but emotional as hell, and my head has swollen up like a friggin watermelon!! hahaha (STOP LOOKING AT ME!!!) Anyways... am still the same person. Love u guys, HEAR the Trivia Night went off awesomly, is that a word?!! Love KAS

Hey guys!! Well as chirpy as I seem, I’m not  . I rang the Dr’s this arvo, and he asked if I wanted to know the results over the phone, for the tumours. “yes please”. So he told me basically everything I expected, everything I didn’t want to hear One tumour was low grade, which we knew, the other was made up of mixed cells, which he did tell me, but didn’t quite catch the enormous names. Olegendra.... sumthin sumthin. So he did say look, you will need both Chemo, and Radiotherapy. So here’s the first and last time I’m gonna say it. I have Cancer. :~( It’s sooo not real. sOooo not real at all. But we gotta chin up, we keep going. I wanna c my kids make all the dumb mistakes I did! Hahahaha. But then you grow from those mistakes and make it better. So Got a Dr calling me tomorrow with appointment for different chemo Dr’s and stuff. So love to u all, am a bit emotional, so gimme a few days.

I wouldnt go near any metal detectors until you get those stapes out!! :D
Its great to hear that your home safe & sound, Jeff & I have our fingers crossed for an all clear on the results.
Love the website, Im sending it to Cass, Emily & Heath (Matthew's computer isnt working anymore). Dont hold your breath waiting for the Bartlett communications though...we only married into the family... :D

Keep positive, smile & enjoy every day as it comes, you have wonderful support from your family & friends, who love you very much. You will have good days & bad days, some days you want to share with everyone & some you wont want to mention.

Gooday Kasey, ive got a crazy surname so you might remember me as the guy from Castrol who you did some work for last year or the year before. I was talking to your dad today and he told me about your recent challenge - needless to say i was shocked and gobsmacked!! Im sorry to hear that you have drawn this tough straw BUT..................
If youre anything like your old man, Im sure you will beat this pair of nasty intruders into your head. Sadly Ive got a number of friends who have been in a very similar situation to yourself but Im happy to say that most of them have made a full and fantastic recovery. In fact, my first mate, Vic, had his tumours cut out well over 10 years ago, went through the chemo and radiotherapy and is now married with 3 kids and living the life of riley in the States.
Now I hope you follow in his tracks ( except I DONT want you to move to the States!! ), keep a damn positive attitude, dont give this ratbag not an inch not even a millimetre!!!! And know that there's a heap of people out there who will be rooting for you to win this battle and win it well!!!!!

We've been asking Tez and Reena about you guys and they gave us this site so we could be up to date, hope that's ok. Feeling for you heaps, but know you guys can stay positive.
I don't know if you're looking into any natural therapies, but i did grab this website off a friend who knows someone who had cancer and went to this health retreat as part of her recovery. Just thought it might be of some interest. Thinking of you guys.
