Hey ALL, apologies for the delay in keeping up to date!! (Useless, I know) Well I have been seizure free since my last blog which is great, they r less and less frequent these days. Went and saw my neurologist, she's happy with my progress and I dont need to see her for 3 mnths, and my radiation oncologist doesn't wanna c me until the end of Dec! Wooo Hooo. I must b doin somethin right?! (I'll let u know when i find out what that 'right thing' is!) NEWS FLASH! My hair is growing back!! Ever so slowly, but never the less its growing! sooo happy, not all of it I might add, there is still a bit at the front, and around the scar where the treatment was more intense (radiation). So double thumbs up about that!! Next thing... My beautiful Friend that was our neighbour in Albury when I was at uni... Mikki (mixxi - to me) has just been diagnosed with Breat Cancer and she will have to go through all the wonderful treatments I have now encountered. She's been calling me her fellow cancerian! hehehe Gotta love her! (LOVE u mikki). Well, Chemo, 1st round  was ok, started on 300mgs TEMODAL for 5 days, felt like crap for another 5 days, then started to pick up. Next cycle 23 days later, I had a blood test on the tues b4 starting cycle on the thurs, and my Platlettes were low (92), they have to be above 100 i'm pretty sure. It just mean that i'm more at risk of bleeding, and bruising! EEkk have i got some bruises! So we were gonna try to have a higher dose, but couldn't, so we stuck to 300mg. Thurs night had my tabs, 4 hrs later I woke myself up feeling so nausious, went to bathroom, VOMIT!! Eeeeww, then I was up and down like a yo yo between feeling great and feeling awful for the next few days, now i'm feeling pretty good :) sooooo... going to c Dr Dandie on Tues (1st time since surgery in Jan!!) then my chemo onc on Thurs. Cheers guys!!
