Hey all,
Well I started Radiotherapy last Tuesday, they rang Mon afternoon and said "just wanted to confirm your first treatment for tomorrow", less time to dwell on it I suppose. Tues was my first, then Wed morn their machine broke down! VERY USEFUL!! But its all been good since then. (Besides the flu!)
Went and saw the Chemo Dr last Wed arvo, she didn't agree that we would do chemo and radiotherapy hand in hand, there was no proven benefit of doing them simultaneously on my kind and grade of tumour/cancer. So we will do a MRI scan once the radiotherapy is over, and see where we r at. Then we will (if we need to) start chemo straight away and take it in tab form. 6 month stint, Mon to Fri one week out of each month. FUN FUN!! But apparently once the chemo starts, my hair will start to grow back, and will hardly feel sick at all. So which is a good thing.
Ok guys, love to all, am enjoying a little bit of FREEDOM this week, being alone for the first time in weeks!!

Hey Kasey,
Just wanted to say hi. Rang the other night for Asher but no one home. I will ring on the wekend and her presie is on its way. Yas had her swimming carnival today. She was hoiuse captain and she raced really well. Her house won and holding the sheild was oh so important. Latif rows in his first regatta next weekend so very exiciting down here. Glad to hear thingsa re going ok and that you are enjoying being on your own. We love you heaps here and wish we could be there to hug and chat. We wil catch up wiht you soon and don;t forget Australian Open in January.
